Cheese Curds (Squeaky Cheese)

Can't go wrong with squeaky cheese! I got spoiled while living in Quebec a few years ago with fresh daily squeaky cheese, Gardeners squeaky cheese is just as good if not better!

The cheese was good. Not as deep of a flavor as I expected. I ordered the white cheese curds and the dilled cheese whips. And two bricks of other cheeses. The cheese came triple wrapped with mylar, like what the helium balloons are made of. Inside the triple wrapping was the cheese with two bricks of some kind of spongy material that had obviously been frozen but had defrosted. The cheese was cool to the touch, but not cold. The box was delivered while I was out, so it sat on my porch for about 3 hours with the outside temperature at about 105°. (I live in Arizona.) Needless to say, the way it was wrapped and shipped was not good enough. I don't know how long it had been out of refrigeration before it got to my house. The cheese seems to be okay so we will eat it without worry.

I love cheese, my co-workers call me “Captain Cheese” at work, because I have cheese every day for lunch (they even had a t-shirt made for me). So, as “Captain Cheese”…….I declare that these are the best damn Squeaky Cheese Curds I have ever had, and I have eaten many. They arrived so fresh, delicious flavor and very squeaky. Will definitely be ordering again! Oh and excellent customer service. I emailed them with a question and they got back to me right away. Also, I appreciated that it was a very sweet lady that responded, not a computer generated response like most companies these days.
