It transports me but not sure to where
I’ve had this for a couple of weeks now. Still sitting with it. Not sure what I think. It certainly transports me but not sure to where. To my nose, a strong earthy/burning/rotting wood smell dominates and I have to search for anything beneath. Sometimes I get subtle hints of citrus and floral that create glimmers of light through the damp heaviness. Even as it fades the dominating notes prevail. I haven’t given up on this one yet but still trying to figure it out.

Oddly Soothing...
To me, in the best way possible, this smells like a sauna. The ones that are a room completely made of wood panels, with coals to pour water over and fill the air with steam. It's dry wood, heated, with years of water dripped onto it. The tang of citrus in the air from a drink you had earlier, the salt from the sweat on your skin or a dip in a salt water pool. I can see why it would remind people of being on a boat. Definitely a moody scent. Not something I would wear every day. More like a nighttime scent; to wear out on sultry evenings, or to bring the outdoors inside when you're longing for the coast. A truly surprising & lovely eau de parfum.

black sea, moon light
green citruses offer lift on this shore of salt-crusted shells, dried wood & smooth stone, all glistening under sea-spray & milky moon light.
