Thorn Bite Peptide Plump Crème Lip Oil: Night Flower

A fun yet practical glitter gloss!

I actually bought this for my sibling, but (with their permission) I swatched it as soon as it arrived. It's such a great glitter combined with the lip cremes from Rituel that I love so much. I'm glad to pull my sibling into appreciating them as well lol

Not as pigmented

As the title says, I'm docking one star because I didn't find mine to be a pigmented as the site pictures showed, and I still quite dislike the overly strong herbal smell the lip oils have. That said, RdF is still one of my favorite makeup brands, if not my favorite so I will be coming back! Also, I loved the immigrant support with this purchase, so I actually got two tubes of this shade, ^_^

Love this shade, a magenta red with a hint of purple shimmer

A beautifully smooth formula. It feels like my lips are cushioned and moisturized. I tried several of the Thorn Bites, and they all have a sheer(ish) first layer that darkens my lips in a flattering way, this one is the same, heading toward red but with a hint of purple shimmer. For context, I'm mid-50s and normally wear lip-colored glosses, and these are out of my usual comfort zone but they're just darn flattering.
