Jupiter model 1010 Piccolo

I was looking for a piccolo for my daughter for marching band. She has full lips and found this piccolo without the lip plate to be easy to play. She is in love with the instrument. The sound is great. We are extremely pleased with the instrument and service we have gotten through the Flute Center.

For the price, it’s an awesome instrument. Years ago I purchased a grenadilla Yamaha piccolo with solid silver key-work and the difference in tone and ease of playing favors the top level Yamaha only marginally for my needs. Intonation is perfect, except for the low D, which requires some mild humoring. I would recommend this instrument as well as the service received from Flute Center without reservations to anyone interested in purchasing e new flute. By the way, I am a return customer: last year I purchased a Haynes Q3 flute from you. Maybe the next purchase will be a solid gold Powell or Haynes concert flute… but that remains in the future for now. Thanks for your service!
