Sichuan Pepper Grinder ( Da Hong Pao Hua Jiao)

Great product, wayyy better quality than the Sichuan peppercorns I get from my local Asian grocer. I only cracked a little into my hand and the taste is actually floral, Citrusy, and very numbing/tingly.

The spice itself is of great quality. The grinder it comes in is worthless except as a spare vessel. Using the screw cap grinder lid barely produces useable flakes of mala pepper. I transferred it to a proper pepper grinder too much better effect. 3 stars for the wasteful use of plastic and glass for providing an ineffective grinding system.
