I recently flew cross country and back with a total of four different planes. This thing rode in the overheads well. It was a little long but it did fit in there with other carry-ons. I loosened the strings but it kept the same tuning from when I put it in the case. My violin was a hair flat on all strings which usually occurs if I don't play it for a couple of days anywy. My family members loved the case just as much as the violin. Anyways...it's a great case.

Bought the case in the sand color. Very well made & beautiful. Fits my 4/4 violin exactly right & is very secure with zippers & lock.
