For years I have had my eye on a “Raiders Poet” when I learned that Herbert Johnson was the original maker & finally decided that now was the time! I’m not ashamed to admit that handmade & high quality speaks to me & my new purchase does not disappoint. The quality & craftsmanship is incredible and for me it is worth every penny I spent! Thank you Herbert Johnson for making a childhood dream come true.

Perfect shape and size

I ordered this hat as an upgrade to a canvas hat I was wearing. Needless to say, I'm impressed with the craftsmanship and attention to detail with these hats. I haven't gone a day without compliments as well. All in all, we have ourselves a good hat here. I opted for the beaver felt for the water repellant characteristics of beaver felt. When I ordered the hat I measured inbetween a couple sizes, so I let Herbert Johnson know and they were happy to help, loe and behold their hatters got it sized perfectly. Their customer service is incomparable, Ive never had it this good. There were times I was hearing back from them within a few minutes through email.
