Cylindra beets

I’ve been planting these beets for a few years now, they are reliable performers. Soak the seed overnight and plant in early spring. I live in a very short season area where mornings can be 28F and shoot up to 70F and that is typically June weather. We have seen 26F in mid July, makes gardening a constant challenge, but beets always make a good showing and I like the shape of cylindra.

The seeds came in quick and was in good condition. I was happy with them and planted them in my greenhouse. So far they have all come up and doing well.
