I haven't opened it yet but did a lot of research on the internet. It looks like it can keep things cold for an average of about 10 to 15 watts. I'm looking for a refrigerator with low power consumption to use during power outages to keep dairy products at about 36 degrees day and night. We will cycle our refrigerator off and on to save energy during outages so it may not keep the temperature low enough for milk, mayonnaise, yogurt, and such. This will fill the gap. I'm assuming the quality et cetera will be good without using it, based on my experience with other Go Sun products (solar cookers).
