Suehiro Cerax 1010 Whetstone #1000

Best whetstone I’ve owned.

This thing is a beast. It cuts well and wears well. If I could only have one stone it would be this one. Fortunately I’ve got several great options but this is now my go to for touch ups and general sharpening. Using this and a #3000 or higher for polishing produces an excellent result very quickly. I wish I had bought this years ago.

The only stone I'll ever need

I found Ryky Tran on youtube. Found out about the Suehiro Cerax 1010. Got it. The price was awesome. The product has exceeded all my expectations. I used it for the first time ever on my Global knives. Brought them back to life. I finished them on the 1000 grit stone with very light final strokes, and I have a piece of leather I use as a strap. My knives have gone from dull and dangerous to wonderfully sharp again, and I found the entire experience almost zen-like. My Father used whetstones for decades, and I felt like I was channeling him in this. Thanks Ryky for the wonderful inspiration!

I love this company

This is THE best place to buy knives and a accessories. Bar none. Good value, great customer service. I'll always buy from them and I recommend you do too. Just wish stock was in quicker but that isn't their fault.
