Should Be Required Reading

Shawn Francis has put together a treasure trove of information for any level athlete or coach. Although Shawn is one of the most intelligent members of the Pole Vault Community, he imparts his wisdom in a concise and measured form. He delivers a pearl packed book supplemented with visual (video) reference to give a complete educational experience. This should be a mandatory training manual for all JH and HS coaches. As a collegiate level coach, I frequently reference his material alongside Alan Launder and John Gormley.
