The ground is much cleaner which helps protect the birds from predation of neighborhood cats. Less ground feeding means safer birds. With it catching the seeds, I certainly am going to save money. Great purchase! I’m getting a second one for my other feeding system!

Definitely helps how much seed is dropping but is a playground for the squirrels and already has a hole after less than 2 weeks.

Fun observations

We are definitely enjoying this. Initially the birds had difficulty negotiating however they have definitely learned! We no longer have to contend with other animals cleaning up the birdseed on the ground beneath our feet or leaving more for our feathered friends on which to feast! Highly recommend!
