Guajillo Peppers for Authentic Salsa Roja

I recently ordered guajillo peppers and was really impressed with the quality. The peppers were fresh, fragrant, and had a beautiful deep red color with great texture — not dried out or brittle like some you find elsewhere. So far I’ve used them to make a Salsa Roja for tamales, and the flavor was smoky, slightly sweet, without overpowering heat. They blended well into the sauce and gave it that authentic flavor I was hoping for. I'm look forward to trying more recipes with them!
