Pietra Pants + Shorts Pattern

A lovely surprise

It took me a while to find the space to sew up the Pietra pants but when I did I sewed two pairs in a row and will definitely be making more. I love the look and feel of them on me. The instructions were clear, helpful and held my hand nicely especially when working on the pockets. I did need to shorten the elastic just a half inch to suit my figure but that was the only adjustment I made. I used Japanese cotton fabric for both and sewed a size 10.

Awesome pants pattern

Love these pants!! Made from a lovely linen and they are just great!! Directions were clear and they were coming out so well that I even hand stitched when it was a suggestion on the waistband. Can’t wait to make them again.

Great pattern

This was my first attempt at sewing pants and they turned out great. The wide leg view in particular has a very forgiving fit while still looking sophisticated thanks to the flat front. I can’t wait to make the shorts and tapered leg versions next. The pattern was easy to follow and I appreciated the instructions for grading between sizes.
