Overkill on the packaging.
The only complaint I have is.... Why does a small item like this spring, has to be sent in such a large box. Total waste. A padded envelope would have been sufficient! Thank you!

Have had original hose reel for 11 years. Supply hose deteriorated and I had to order short hose to replace old one. In the process of installing new hose, I found out that the unit was very well made, thick gauge metal and good finish. Do not regret spending money on a American-made product. Also impressed that parts still available for an 11 yr. old unit.

It Works!
Just as it said in the description, this spring effectively prevents the hose from kinking where it is most likely to kink and cause decreased water flow.
