Hewes Virginia Crabapple

Everything looks fine so far. The Hewes trees and the other four I ordered are trimmed and in the ground, as they have been since the day of their arrival. I am most hopeful about the Hewes, since it is recommended for apple cider.

Well cared for

Our Virginia Hewes Crabapple arrived on expected date, nicely packed and in excellent condition. We promptly potted in a large pot 10 days ago. Buds have leafed out and it looks happy. We can’t wait to place in permanent location and watch it grow up. Thrilled that its long bloom time will support our three other apple trees. We have other purchases from Raintree with similar good results.

Tree arrived with a great root ball and limbs. I was surprised to see that it is loaded with blossoms ready to open.
