Nile radishes new favorite
I plant Nile radish seeds in May here in the northeast. They grow without bolting till mid to late July.
I love their red stems and red radish color. And I eat the tender leaves. The radishes don’t get pithy when they’re large and are delicious

I am hoping to use this variety to extend radish growing a bit more past spring and into the summer. Plus we live in the “Little Egypt” area of Illinois, so the name Bile appealed to me.

A great mid season radish
The flavor is pleasantly spicy and they stayed nice and solid; never got pithy even if I let them grow large. Good germination and I love that the leaves don't have bristles to irritate my skin!
