fantastic pan to make gyoza, the lid is great and still smells from forest

Perfect Gyozas

I washed this first in warm water and dried it. Same with the lid, which I then rubbed with olive oil. (The lid is porous wood) The pan was then seasoned with sesame oil and heated gently. Finally, I fried some pieces of bread in it. Thereafter there were no factory smells or residues. It cooked Gyozas better than anything I have used before.
