It’s straight up good coffee. More chocolate than anything else and richer than I expected from an Ethiopian light, but not burnt, quality, and smooth.

Coffee Teleportation

While visiting California on a trip and absolutely falling in love with the state from north to south, we stopped in an Erewhon on our way to the airport. Two things that help me revisit a favorite place are taste and smell, so I grabbed a bag of Joshua Tree Mellow Ethiopian for the great color and graphics. Once we got back to Florida, we tried the beans. Without the technical coffee lingo, it’s the perfect combination of bold coffee flavor with low acidity and no bitterness — exactly what I love. We instantly ordered three more bags and are now subscribed.
