36" x 8" Inswing Threshold

Better quality than what I took out. I think it is sturdy and will last a long time in my rental. Will definitely think about replacing my old ones at home. However, I repeatedly measured for height and ended up having to plane off an 1/8 inch so it door would clear. Not sure what the fault was as I'm a noob at doors. And yes I trued the door

I ordered mid day on Friday. I had an insurance issue with storm damage and a fallen tree. I needed an 8 inch replacement threshold fast as a result of the fallen tree. Brick and mortor stores do not stock 8 inch thresholds. I called customer service and talked to Kim about my situation. She called her warehouse manager and ask him to stay over and get it shipped. I'm in Belleville, Michigan...not around the corner from Pease Door. My new threshold arrived on Saturday morning. The item is terriffic! Kim and the warehouse manager are my heros. I owe them lunch!

I moved into this house in February. The house is 23 years old. One of the threshold caps was missing, and the other door was also contributing significant heat loss. I replaced both thresholds, and the exterior envelope of my home is much better now.
