MEGA Reach Foam Weatherstrip (1 piece)

Originally bought door seal from Lowes not big enough for the gap, this was the right size , no more light coming through. The black does have a bit of a shiny sheen to it not a fan, but how often am I staring at weatherstripping with the door open….

This was not your normal weather stripping situation. I recently built and installed new shed doors on my garden shed. The gap between the doors required a solution to prevent rain from entering. The gap was larger than I had planned (oops-I did measure twice even thrice and cut once but still) so I needed a space filler that was wide enough and fit in the groove of the redwood planks used to make the door. After searching for a remedy I landed here and found the perfect solution. I cut it to fit and decided to gorilla glue it into the groove. It worked! Thank you. See the pics for details. I included one of the garden whimsy on the inside of the doors just for fun
