Been satisfied for years

Hard to say much about corks one way or the other. They are CORKS. Put 'em in a full bottle of wine and if they A) are easy to install; B) don't allow leakage; C) last a long time; and D) don't impart any off taste to the wine; then they are acceptable. I've been using Nomacorc Synthetic Wine Corks #9 x 1 1/2" for years. A lot of years. They fulfill all of the above criteria and are easy to install with my corking machine. Plus the fact that they are synthetic rather than organic (as in "cork" corks, though purists will probably disagree) pretty much guarantees that there will be no shenanigans taking place in the bottle once corked and stored away. I like them and fully intend to keep on using them. Now, if we could only get Midwest Supplies to carry SOME RELIABLE CHAMPAGNE STOPPERS...
