Blowoff hose

Excellent choice for a 5 gallon glass carboy fermenter. You don’t want to use the smaller airlocks because they could become clogged and blast off due to the amount of fermentation generated by the 5 gallon. The hose has to be forced into the carboy so it creates a tight seal. The exit end should be put into a small bucket or container of sanitizer. This allows the pressure to escape while still maintaining an airlock.
