Very Good But
I live in a rather cold climate. I try to brew on days that are above freezing. I do not boil inside. My last brew took along time to get the boil going. I wanted to shorten that time so I purchased the Bilchmann HellFire based solely on its ads. My next brew date I used it for the first time. It did cut the time to boil significantly. So in that regard I am pleased. While I was brewing I tried to get the burner to the HellFire state. Supposedly the flames are to lift off the burner surface and make a noticeably louder noise. With the tank valve wide open, the regulator wide open, and the air tube wide open I could not get the flames to lift off the burner. Maybe I could not get the results I was expecting because the tank wasn't full or maybe the ambient temperature was too cold or possibly the regulator they sent wasn't working correctly. It's not a big deal to me. I just wanted to see what the max would look and sound like. I took of a star for that.
With that being said I still like the results I got. The large burner diameter covers most of the 10 gal. brew kettle. With the many orifices the heat was even around the bottom of the kettle. The kettle bottom was the cleanest ever. All and all I'm pleased.
