Great Kettle from a Great Supplier

We bought the Brewers Edge electric brewing kettle Series II with pump, as a group of friends wanted to dabble in brewing and get together every couple weeks to hang out and drink our own beer while sparging or boiling etc. Well, 4 brews in and we’re hooked. This kettle makes life so easy, the timer kicks in to heat the strike water an hour before we show up to play, the pump allows for maximum extraction and 15 minute chill downs when ready to transfer to the fermenter. The kettle originally arrived slightly damaged in transit. Midwest was amazing and quickly sent out a replacement and told me not to worry about rushing the damaged one back. In a few days we had our new kettle, in perfect shape, shipped of the damaged one and were brewing our first brew. The kettle itself could be made out of slightly heavier steel, but that would add cost and weight so we will just have to be gentle not to dent or ding our wonderful new toy. Can’t state enough about what a great customer service dept they have at Midwest. I will be a loyal customer for years to come.
