One Step Paint | Nottaway

I really, really wanted to love this paint. The color is beautiful. But there definitely appears to be a learning curve, and I haven’t mastered it. No matter how many videos I watched, I couldn’t for the life of me get it to go on smoothly and without brush strokes. It felt like I was painting with glue. Even adding a bit of water didn’t make a whole lot of difference. I’ve used other chalk paint brands without any issues, but this one was a whole other thing. I’m disappointed.

Blue with just a tint of green. It is definitely more blue. I used it on a oak Chest and it covered well.

Amy Howard paint is easy to use and clean up. It applies smoothly and adheres well to finished furniture. I have used chalk paint for many of my projects and will continue to do so. The color on my photo is lighter than in person. I really like this blue which is spa like and looks great with my dark espresso curtains and furniture. I used it on my armoire as an accent piece and I LOVE how it came out.
