Easy Hearty Satisfying Organic Split Peas

The organic green split peas were great quality. I love split peas for a quick, hearty, vegan soup. I add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda while cooking two cups of peas (with your choice of spices and broth), to make sure they get cooked in 45-60 minutes.
