Great tea, great shop
We've been buying tea from Daniel at the Chinese Tea Shop for about 12 years. When we started buying tea from him, we were relatively new to experiencing aged pu'erhs. Daniel and his wife Jenny did a good job of introducing us to teas we have grown to love immensely over the years. There is nothing like going and tasting tea with Daniel in the shop, especially if you enjoy aged pu'erhs (the oolongs and black teas are excellent as well!!!), but it's the pu'erhs that Daniel does such a great job of curating and then keeping in ideal storage settings. This tea is a good example. I like to age this tea after buying in a yixing clay pot that Daniel sells for a while (3-6 months) before drinking. It's an intense tea with great flavor, depth. Long-lasting for many infusions. Tastes of the forest. I recommend this tea. Ideally try it with Daniel in the shop, but with the pandemic making travel difficult, we have been ordering online. Same great tea! And good service. Thank you Chinese Tea Shop.
