Beautiful work. Way to complicated.

It is probably me, but there is just so much I can take with following directions. I read through this detailed tutorial, which I almost think it had to be, but I immediately lost interest and didn't attempt to do this project. Maybe a super detailed person would like it. My art is detailed, but my mental stamina isn't. What I really wanted was to see someone's methodology behind smoothing work on drafting film.
