Merlot Lettuce

I planted a few Merlot lettuce seeds in my Aero Garden in the Fall and have eaten this lettuce in salads all winter long. It is so delicious tasting and the green and burgundy colors of its large leaves makes it so beautiful to look at. It really has become my favorite lettuce to grow and to eat!

I am planning to start my seeds this week, as it is only zone 4 and still winter here. I will start some of the lettuce, and move into the tomatoes after that. I'll keep you posted on how they do, but the packaging is wonderful!
