Best merino top

Lovely top. Super soft and comfortable with long arms and body (good if tall like me). Worn properly on an overnighter in Snowdonia and was comfortable all day (20C), drying surprisingly quickly at rest stops, and at night (0C). I’d recommend over icebreaker, etc.

Best base layer

Fantastic base layer, warm, warm when damp, works brilliantly with the mesh top for added warmth. Used mine in a Brecon snow storm, no issues, taking it to the Cairngorms then onto the Hardangervidda in a few weeks. Plus other Brynje kit obviously.

Best Kit

This is my latest addition to my Brynje wardrobe. Supremely warm and built to last as is all their kit. I’ve had the these and super thermo base layers in excess of ten years and they are all going strong.
