Flexocor Permanent Violin String Set

Very well balanced, responsive set of strings with fine overtones.

I tried this brand of strings on this violin some years ago and decided to try a new set to see if my aging, failing ears like them now (I've been playing for 84 years). They do and I expect to keep them on as long as they last. I have been having trouble finding strings (among new issues) that suit me on this violin during the past decade, especially in ensemble playing- these do! Since 2015 I had great success with Pirastro Permanent D & G strings on my finicky viola (not a complete set because that viola needs lower-tension A & C strings) and the Permanents were wonderful for the 5 years they kept their golden tone.
