I was surprised that there wasn't even 1 slide included. It took away from the excitement of the gift. Having to download the instructions also lessened the experience. I was surprised the microscope was shipped from California. I thought I was buying a product made in PA. Awesome customer service after the purchase.

I initially purchased this microscope wanting a low cost, but high quality microscope to monitor my koi fish parasite concerns. The camera accessory clearly made it easy to video and record the parasite infestation and then have someone with experience watch, review and provide recommended treatment which has clearly saved many of my fish based on a accurate and immediate diagnosis that could not have been possible otherwise, not to mention the likelyhood of more deceased fish without prompt identification and the specific treatment necessary. The camera was an excellent accessory that has clearly already paid for itself. Further the battery and power cord option was great to use pond side saving time running back and forth from the house. I am so happy with the purchase and excellent quality and features and now have a degree of confidence that I am able to immediately diagnose and address any parasite issues from this point on
