The Brynje base layers are a secret gem. Having tried pretty much all of the best base layers, the Brynje super Thermo range comes out on top. I normally use a tee shirt or long sleeve version, but have bought the vest option as I will wear underneath the next best baselayer from a well known British brand for the shoulder season whilst moving fast. If you move above a certain pace and in particular uphill you are going to get warm / hot and sweat, however the superthermo really does manage moisture well in its own special way so your skin is a lot less wet when working hard, so when you stop you won’t chill as quickly and can remain warm with the right layers. Hence why if you know you know :) . The service from Nordic life was excellent as usual. Really speedy delivery. Only downside is that a the Brynje kit sells fast so be quick. That probably says it all. Perhaps more people know now :)

Excellent product, warm and dry!

This base layer performs as claimed. It kept me warm and dry on a cool wet day, with periods of fast walking and periods of having to stand still in the rain wearing a hard shell waterproof. The level of breathability and avoidance of moisture build up was noticeably better than a conventional merino base layer. Well worth the price.
