The elastic cuff is just enough to keep the sock snug without constricting skin. Since the ultralight doesn't have any terry padding, it's a good option for shoes without much room.

I've had these for about a month and they seem like good quality and the size is as advertised. The front has a trapezoidal shape to them that is a little uncomfortable for me as it doesn't allow my toes to splay naturally.

Just did a 4 day backpacking trip with these. They didn't smell that bad and I never felt like I needed to wash them in a stream. They dried quickly and my feet were very comfortable. No blisters!
