My new tree: Demeter
I named my fig tree Demeter because she is an Olympian and will hopefully have a wonderful harvest someday. The tree arrived in good condition, just a bit thirsty. I called to get advice about potting up versus planting into the ground. We decided on potting up for now. Demeter seems to be content with this decision and has provided a few new leaves.

Failure to thrive.
