The material used is substantial. This is well made. The adhesive allows for "adjustments" and was easy to deal with. And the shipping was lightning fast! For a map this size (6' x 4'), you definitely need at least two people. We have this mounted in our home with a second being a world map. Our guests and grandkids have a great time looking at these.
