Sweet Banana Pepper Seeds

Wrong Seed Bin?

I ordered sweet banana pepper seeds, (from Rohrer Seeds) planted some and gave some to my neighbor. The back of the package says "...sweet peppers without any hint of heat." Well, these suckers are hotter than...fill in the blank. I've been growing chilies and sweet peppers for several years, as has my neighbor, and we both got quite a punch from these. They are very delicious but my only complaint is that I don't have any sweet banana peppers this year. I'm guessing the packager got the seeds from the wrong bin or something. So this is no Sweet Banana Pepper review, but if you want a review for your hot ones? Use this - they are great! Just not what I was hoping for.

The order arrived promptly and contained all the items I ordered. The Sweet Banana seeds germinated and were eventually transplanted out into the garden. They might be bearing soon.
