Nettie Dress + Bodysuit Pattern

Great fit, easy to sew

I absolutely loved this pattern and it helped me realize why so many other t-shirt patterns don’t fit in the shoulders-because mine are just a bit more broad/square. Such a revelation. I’ve hacked this pattern into a shirt and full coverage underwear. I made one body suit in a performance French terry and it pairs perfectly with high waisted pants and skirts. It’s a wardrobe staple now and it’s perfect year round.

quick easy sew, fitted bodycon style

i've made the dress version twice and is a lovely fitted dress, it looks small when sewn up but needs to be so the shoulders stay on. i attached the neckband back to front the first time as i didn't realise the back was lower then the front! make sure you have a good stretch fabric with recovery. i did one in a sports knit and that works too.

This sew was easier than it looked!

I purchased the Nettie bodysuit/dress pattern and sewed up the bodysuit in a merino knit. I haven't sewed a lot of knit patterns, but this went very smoothly. I was pleased with the shape and the fit. I have worn it sitting around the house as well as out rollerskating with my teen and I found it is comfy in either circumstance. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfy, feminine shirt that stays tucked in.
