If you're using a power hungry PC for your music listening, this thing helps a ton with getting a clean signal into your dac. If your dac has an i2s input, the su6 (or hell any ddc) is worth checking out regardless of how good your dacs USB input claims to be.

Faulty Unit? Having drop outs a lot.
I keep getting short drop outs in music from this converter. All other applications are closed, all the settings are correct, drivers are correct. My other USB to SPDIF converters do not exhibit drop outs, only this one. I've reached out to customer service to find a solution. Hope to hear back from them.
