Cute, comfy and effortlessly stylish, the Indigo smock has no fiddly fastenings so you can throw it on and go. Sew it with classic gathered seams or elevate it to a stand-out piece in your wardrobe with the pretty exposed frill seam.

Great!
I always love Tilly patterns. The Lyra and now indigo are my go to. Easy to assemble and perfect finishes every time! Used the pattern to make an organza overlay dress with French seams. I just cut a size bigger to allow for the fabric. A perfect oversized dress.

Perfect match!
I saw a dress advertised online and couldn't help thinking, " I've seen that dress somewhere, I know I can make that!". The Indigo is a perfect match. I've made a muslin from fabric a friend gave me and I see only a couple of adjustments that I want to do. I'm calling this my "hippie dippy Granny dress" and I will wear it all summer! Below is my inspiration, then my muslin styled as everyday wear and finally with my favorite apron 😉. Thanks TATB!

Indigo Dress with short sleeves
I am new to sewing clothes and felt this pattern might be beyond me. However, I took it step by step and loved making it. I am hooked and looking forward to my next make. I used cotton lawn and it was lovely to work with. Thanks Tilly for understanding how beginners feel!
