G-1 Flight Jacket with Removable Collar LONG/TALL Z2108ML

Great fit, misleading color.

There are not a lot of choices for G-1 jackets with side pockets that are available in Long sizes, so I'm grateful for Cockpit USA for providing that option. The fit is perfect and I enjoy wearing it. Promise time for the jacket was 3-5 weeks and it ended up being closer to 7 weeks for it to be made and shipped. These are hand crafted items so that is somewhat expected. What was unexpected was the color. It looks nothing like the pictures. It's a very, very deep brown that looks black unless hit with the most flattering of light. While I understand that leather by its nature has variance this is beyond reasonable. CockPit USA had the option of sending this back through their QA process but opted to pass it along to the customer instead. I would not purchase another jacket from them again because of this.

Excellent G-1 Navy Leather Jacket!

Very well made jacket! Great "Made in USA" quality - made to US naval aviation (including USMC) specs. "Must" be made in dark brown goatskin to respect naval aviation tradition. "If unsure" about size: size up one size and opt for "Long". Highly recommend!
