Synergistic Research XOT Carbon (Crossover Transducer)

Magic! And magical!

An electrical engineer neighbor of mine describes audio and all things related to audio as "black magic" and there are times I cannot argue with him. Case in point is the Synergistic Research XOT Carbon. Here are two small cylinders that attach to one's speakers via small wire and either spades or bananas. Then after about 48 hours or so one all of a sudden starts to get a more "refined" and cleaner sound from one's speakers. And as time goes on things just get better! How? Not sure, and frankly, I really do not care because all I care about is that they work, and work well. I am so smitten with these that I could not imagine owning a pair of speakers without the XOT Carbons attached. I get dynamics with sharper leading edges in the notes, more "air", a deeper and more inviting soundstage as if I dropped a few thousand more for amps or cables. But nope - no need! Just get a pair of Synergistic Research XOTs and you are all set. Highly recommended.
