plastic nub on the bottom of two sliders fell off
unfortunately the heavy-weight (150lb) sliders i ordered were flimsier than the lighter-weight ones i've used in the past on other speakers. when installing the sliders two of them broke: the plastic hemispheres on the bottoms, which are affixed with glue to the body of the slider, cracked and fell off. my current plan is to replace them with the spikes which were designed for these speakers (wilson watt-puppy 6's). disappointing. i was hoping for solid metal construction.

Works well under my Solidsteel rack.
My Solidsteel rack comes with spikes to couple to the floor. Changing to Herbie’s Threaded Stud Gliders decoupled the rack horizontally, while still coupling vertically. Like how Tokyo skyscrapers are built to withstand earthquakes there. I like the positive effect they made to the sound.
