Suzuki DL V-Strom 2002 - 2003

Great service and product!

I was planning a trip up the California and Oregon coast with a friend. I knew there was potential for rain. I decided to try and find a larger windscreen, even though I thought it would be very unlikely to get it in time. I was leaving in 3 days. I called a few of the more well known companies I had seen advertised and was told they could not make and ship a new windscreen in time for my trip. One manufacturer recommended I call Gustafsson Plastics "because they make good products for just about every bike". I called them and got cheerful assistance from Jennifer. She immediately called the shop, who said they would make it right away. Jennifer then followed up by notifying me, and keeping me informed that she would ship my new windscreen and a special drill bit for acrylics, two day delivery. She did even better, as well as UPS, and I received my order the very next day, about 11:00 AM. I was amazed and very pleased. Immediately I went work to install it following the directions included. It went together just as Gustafsson said, with only one problem that was not their fault. I found that the Suzuki rubber mounting hardware was rotted and needed replacement. I couldn't get the Suzuki parts right away so I repaired them using a tire repair kit. I completed installing my windscreen and finished packing in time for my trip. The trip was great and even better because of the new windscreen, because it worked really well blocking the air and providing good airflow over and around. And when I encountered heavy rain the windscreen worked great. I highly recommend Gustafsson Plastics as a great product and very customer service oriented company.
