Wheel Dog Harness

Great harness, just need a version with a slightly larger neck space

Love this harness, worked great for my wheel dogs, just one issue which is the neck. I run Siberians which because of their thicker fur need a bit more neck room so that it isn’t too tight and choking when they’re pulling. The measurements for my dogs didn’t quite align with the measurements given for each size, so ultimately I used their weight as the guide for sizing and got them mediums. This worked out fine in the body, but with their big fluffy necks, it does seem quite snug in the space, so i am not as fond of that part. I want my dogs to be as comfortable as possible and not feel like they’re choking when we run. Perhaps making these harnesses with smaller neck spaces for Alaskan huskies and smaller necked breeds, and a slightly larger neck space version for Siberians, small Malamutes, etc. I have 2 puppies that are Woolly Siberians that will likely never be able to use these particular harnesses when they’re old enough to run, unless I size up, which may make the body fit too big. Aside from this we loved them, and our wheel dogs did great with them, looking forward to trying it on our dog that is a crabber to see if it stops her crabbing as others have said.
