I am cycling a tank the SL-Aqua method. You need this, and purify. 1 spoon ful (comes with a spoon in bottle) is enough to do a 20 gallon tank. spread OVER the substrate not under it. sprinkle like you would flour for baking. Then fill dose purify, then pour in enough water to fill your tank 1/2 way. I added GH stuff to TDS 98 too. Let it sit for 48 hours, use your lights on a timer you want 8 hours 12 being better. After 48 hours, I added a heater set to 80 degrees. Then walk away from the tank for 30 days.
