My family and I enjoy the our smoked meats seasoned, but seldom sauced. So, over the past two years I have tried a wide range of rubs on chicken, and a variety of cuts of pork and beef. We prefer a seasoning blend where no single ingredient overpowers the others. Just yesterday I smoked six half-racks of ribs in the Pit Barrel Cooker for friends and family and I used four different rubs. I noticed that folks kept going back for the ribs seasoned with the 'Beef & Game Pit Rub. ' It made a real difference and folks loved it. As for me personally, I picked up the 2. 5 lb. bag. That probably tells you what I think! I love it! The 'Beef & Game Pit Rub' goes well with chicken, pork and beef. It is my 'go to' with beef, any kind of ribs, and especially venison.
