This is a great tasting, full bodied flavor Olive Oil. Color is darker than what I was using before which means more polyphenols I would think, so that is good. I love it as a POUR-OVER SEASONING for vegetables and potatoes and as an HERBED DIPPING SAUCE. I have even used it for stir-fries and it does very well.

Love your olive oil tastes wonderful thin full flavor however seems like when I purchase the oils or vinegar's they immediately go on sale! Fixed income. I will be looking elsewhere now!

Kasandrinos olive oil checks ALL the boxes for me (I have LOTS of check boxes:). It's not just about the olive oil, although that is the primary number one non-negotiable, it is about LOTS of things 1. It's clean and Organic (which for me should be semi-redundant terms). Always tests tops for purity in 3rd party reviews such as Mammavation. 2. It's fresh. Low acidity 0.1- 0.5 IE FRESH. Dark glass bottle. Process & Expiration date for verification. Doesn't sit on a hot bright supermarket shelf waiting for you to discover it. while it ages. You don't have too brush the dust off the bottle to read the label like often happens with some "premium" products that start good but fester on shelf for near eternity. All the markers of FRESH. 3. Single sourced rather than commodity sourced. Not a bunch of oils mixed in a barrel till a taste tester says "that about fits the profile we want". The profile is defined by the estate and the processing and the batch. 4. BETTER than privately owned. It is Small FAMILY private owned. "Private" can cover all sorts of sins same as "we don't really know who's in charge" covers lots of sins.. Small family private with names and faces attached puts skin in the game and the owners take it seriously. 5. It's an American Veteran owned business. 6. Stellar customer service. Although I've never really needed it except to modify an order. The experience always sets the standard for what customer service should be. Finally. I recall way back before I made my first order one of the primary owners in the family (I forget his name), he was being interviewed and was asked "why don't you put this stuff in supermarkets?". The answer was he did not want to lose control of the chain of custody (paraphrasing). That sold me because when you purchase a premium product you expect it to be premium and that is only achieved if you control it from the tree to the doorstep. Any improper step on the way turns a premium perishable product in to just another commodity olive oil product. Note I'm not really a foodie. Olive oil is more of a health thing for me and that can only be true if it is fresh at your door step No matter how good it started off the tree if every step between the tree and your door is not correct your premium product becomes just another commodity product
