Doesn't smell much like coconut...

I just opened the package and it doesn't smell like fresh coconut at all. It has a faint coconut scent but more like a peppery scent and taste...did I get a bad batch? Good thing I only ordered the 1lb package.

Great quaity

Amazing customer service!

I previously purchased some coconut expecting it to be from the Philippines, but it was from Sri Lanka instead. I posted a review regarding this and was contacted immediately by customer service. Alannah was fantastic and offered a discount on another bag of coconut, and then went out of the way to make sure that it was indeed from the Philippines when I made my next purchase!
